Abstract

In 1881/82 Aurel and Arthur Krause visited the Tlingit in Alaska and collected Tlingit material culture. The objects were finally given to museums in Bremen, Hamburg, Berlin and Copenhagen. Papers documenting the collection offer the opportunity to trace the objects and to take a look at the whole collection. This is the third of three articles about the formation of the Krause collection.
